These terms and conditions apply to any services provided by Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist/Lydia Hilton Beauty Artistry

Upon booking a service with Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist/Lydia Hilton Beauty Artistry, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.​

STUDIO MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

MAKING A BOOKING

All makeup appointments require a non refundable $65 per person deposit to secure. This deposit goes towards your full payment. All studio bookings are booking via this link: https://lydiahiltonmakeupartist.schedulista.com

TIME SLOT

Time slots can not be held without a deposit.

PAYMENT

All deposits are paid securely online through Stripe . Payment for the remaining cost of your appointment can be paid via Cash or Square Eftpos on the day of your appointment. Should you choose to direct transfer your deposit, you are required to email lydiamhilton@gmail.com a payment receipt from your bank.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If for any reason you need to cancel your makeup booking, please do so by notifying me via email at lydiamhilton@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Please understand that if you wish to cancel your appointment, you will forfeit the $65 non refundable deposit you made when booking. This deposit is under no circumstance refundable in any way. At our discretion, reschedule the appointment to another date, depending on the circumstance. It is to Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist discretion whether compensation, refunds or store credit is given.  A refund fee will apply to all refunds and will vary depending on the cost. Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist is not liable to reimburse the fee to the respected client that comes with the refund. 

If you are running any more than 15 minutes late to your appointment - I have the right to cancel this booking. You will also forfeit the $65 deposit you make when booking. If you do show up within that 15 minutes please keep in mind I may not necessarily have time to execute a detailed makeup  look. If you do not show up to your appointment without notifying me of any cancellation, you  run the risk of being unable to book in with me in the future. 

PARKING

In circumstances when parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when makeup services are being conducted, for example hotel parking and meter parking. There is free street parking available for appointments at my studio 37 Beatrice street, Taringa 4068.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist requires information regarding a clients sensitivities and allergies. In no event shall Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example but not limiited to eczema, allergic reactions or sensitive skin and eyes.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our make-up applications, Lash lifts, Eyebrow waxes and Spray Tans and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes with your consent.

WEDDING BOOKINGS

Weddings bookings are very selective with existing clients prioritised over new clinets,only a certain number of weddings will be booked each year.

To secure your wedding date a 50% booking fee is required. Upon receipt of payment of this deposit, your booking is confirmed. This is a non refundable deposit. Friday & Saturday bookings require a minimum of 4 makeup applications for artist to come onto location.

WEDDING DEPOSITS

Booking fee: 50% non refundable

Remaining 50% due 3 weeks prior to wedding date

Booking fee and further remaining balance are to be paid by Square invoices. Other payment methods to be discussed on a case by case basis.


Please note that deposits are non refundable and a minimum of 8 weeks notice is required to cancel your booking. If less then 8 weeks notice is given an invoice will be sent our for remaining balance owing.

MAKEUP TRIAL

Your makeup trial can be booked online via my online booking system: https://lydiahiltonmakeupartist.schedulista.com/,choose your date and time. Makeup trials can be booked on any day of the week. A makeup trial is $145 and are conducted in my studio space. If you are not happy with your makeup trial or I feel I am not the perfect makeup artist for your wedding day, your deposit will be refunded less the trial fee.

CHANGES/CANCELLATION No reduction in the number of makeup applications are allowed after initial quote is accepted. Any additional numbers, changes in location or timing on the day will be accommodated where possible. In the event that you need to postpone your wedding, your deposit will be transferred to your new date. However if you choose a date I am not available your deposit will be forfeited.

MARKETING

When you enter your contact details online via this Wix website or Schedulista Online booking system, you have opted in to receive email marketing via Mailchimp from Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist. You can change your preferences and opt out of this Marketing at anytime via the bottom of any email received.

HEALTH & HYGIENE INCLUDING CORONA VIRUS

Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist REQUIRES ALL unwell clients, related or unrelated to corona virus to inform via email as soon as possible of your health condition. Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist regrets to inform you that all appointments cannot be rescheduled in the event that the client shows any flu symptoms upon arrival/during the appointment. If you do not inform prior to your arrival to your appointment, your appointment will be terminated without any form of compensation. Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist will cancel your appointment if you are tested positive for coronavirus. In the event that an appointment is rescheduled/cancelled by either the client or Lydia Hilton Makeup Artist, your payment will unfortunately not be refunded as it is out of our control and therefore not our responsibility. All appointments affected by the corona virus will be given the the option to reschedule, cancel or given store credit as compensation.

These Terms and conditions are likely to change and update from time to time without notice.
